Problem

Provisioning fails on timezone or language, or the values do not show in Freshservice.

Cause

Freshservice accepts only its own timezone names and its own list of language codes.

Steps

  • Timezone: the target attribute is timezone. Use a value from the left column of the list List of Time Zones Supported in Freshservice (https://support.freshservice.com/support/solutions/articles/232302-list-of-time-zones-supported-in-freshservice). Microsoft Entra ID has no timezone attribute. To build the value, use an expression or an extension attribute.
  • Language: the target attribute is locale (no extension URN). Use a code from the supported list (see Supported Language Codes (Locale Values)), for example fr or de. fr-FR and de-DE are not valid. To set one language for everyone, use a Constant mapping.
